Corporate & Non-Profit Event Flowers in New York City

Alaric Flower Design works with event planners, producers and marketing teams on corporate and non-profit events across Manhattan. Launches and brand activations, conferences, benefit galas, executive dinners, and the arrangements that hold a reception area the rest of the year. Design, sourcing, install and strike run under one brief, with one person to call.
Most of this work is judged on two things before anyone looks at the flowers: whether the build goes in on schedule in a building with its own rules, and whether the palette holds against a brand guideline. We quote to the brief rather than from a rate card, because the same amount of visible decor can be an afternoon with one van or a night build with a lift and a second crew.
What we design
- Entrance framing, step-and-repeat surrounds and branded activation builds
- Stage, screen and podium flowers for conferences and all-day programmes
- Gala and benefit centrepieces, from low table runs to room-scale sculpture
- Executive dinners, VIP receptions and donor evenings
- Reception desks, lobbies and boardrooms on weekly, bi-weekly or monthly programmes
- Holiday installations for offices and private clubs
- Palettes matched to brand guidelines, mood boards or a venue scheme

Every piece is designed for the room it is going into. Stems are chosen for the light, the ceiling height and how long the arrangement has to hold, which is a different calculation for a two-hour reception than for a desk that has to look right on Friday afternoon.
Conferences, summits and all-day programmes
A conference room is a hard room to dress. Sightlines to the screens have to stay clear, the set has to survive a full day of sessions and at least one turnover, and anything on a table people are working at has to be low enough to talk across. We design to the room plan and the run of show, not to a photograph, and we agree in advance what moves between sessions and what stays put.

Brand activations and product launches
An activation has to read in a photograph taken on a phone from six feet away. In practice that means fewer colours used in greater quantity, and height where the eye expects the frame to stop. We build in the brand colour rather than near it, and we say so early if a stem in that exact shade is not going to be available in the week you need it.
The entrance surround at the top of this page was built in a single red against the client mark, with white and burgundy pampas carrying the top of the frame where flowers alone would have looked thin.

Activations often want a larger visual footprint than flowers alone can give. Our balloon and flower decor service covers entrance framing, step-and-repeat backdrops and sculptural builds in your brand colours, quoted inside the same proposal as the florals. That page carries a fully photographed corporate installation we designed and installed for Zoom in New York City, with design, sourcing, install and strike under one brief and one point of contact. It is the clearest picture we can give of what a full-scale build looks like.
Benefit galas and fundraising dinners

At a benefit the flowers are working against an auction, a programme and a room full of people who came to talk to each other. The job is to give the room a centre and then get out of the way of the conversation. Past non-profit clients include The Bone Marrow Foundation and Education Through Music, alongside arts organisations and charitable foundations, at venues across Manhattan including Lincoln Center, The Plaza and private clubs.
We are used to working alongside event planners, auction teams and a venue in-house florist, and to a budget that has to be defensible to a board. Where an organisation is mission-aligned, sponsorship arrangements or in-kind partnerships are sometimes possible. Ask when you request the quote.
Receptions, executive dinners and lobbies
Between the gala and the desk arrangement sits most of the work: a private dining room taken by one piece, a reception floor that needs a focal point, a lobby that has to look considered to everyone who walks through it. The scale changes, the method does not.

The same thinking at a tenth of the size is a tight dome on a lounge table, cut close so the shape reads from across a retail floor instead of dissolving into the furniture.
For offices that want this permanently rather than for one evening, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly programmes run for reception areas, executive floors, lobbies and private clubs. Arrangements are designed by Lena Yelagina and delivered from our Upper West Side studio at 54 W 70th St, with Manhattan same-day delivery to a 2pm ET cutoff.
A bar is its own kind of lobby. The arrangement has to survive being leaned on, read against whatever is lit behind it, and look right in every photograph taken across it for the rest of the night.

Retail floors, showrooms and flagship stores
A store is the hardest commercial room to put flowers in. It is open seven days a week under warm display lighting, customers pass within inches of the vase, and the flowers must never compete with the thing that is actually for sale.
We are in residence at the Loro Piana flagship on Madison Avenue through 2026. Lena Yelagina led the work, and it began with visits to several of their stores at different times of day before any design was proposed. The palette was then built against the merchandise rather than against a seasonal flower list: oak slatting, pale stone, folded cashmere, leather and raffia.

Two directions run through the program. One is cool and tonal, led by blue hydrangea, allium and delphinium with peach garden roses to stop it going cold. The other is white and green, loose enough to look cut that morning rather than assembled, which is the harder of the two against pale oak.

Programmes like this run on a fixed changeover schedule worked around trading hours, with designs repeatable to the same standard each week. Read the longer account of the Loro Piana work in how we built the Madison Avenue floral program.
Team events and offsites

Not every corporate booking is decor. We run hands-on arranging sessions for teams, where everyone builds something and takes it home, which works as an offsite activity, a client entertainment slot or the social half of an all-day programme. Groups are hosted at the studio or run at your office or venue. See our flower arranging classes for how a session is structured.
Working with your venue and your building
Most of the risk in an event install is not floral. Manhattan buildings typically want a certificate of insurance on file before a vendor reaches the loading dock, and a service elevator booked for the window you need rather than the window that happens to be free. Strike is a separate crew call, and a venue that wants the room clear the same night is a different job from one that lets you come back in the morning.
We handle those conversations with your venue or building directly, and we raise them at the proposal stage rather than on the day. You get one point of contact from the first consultation through to load-out, and the person who took the brief is the person your production team reaches when the schedule moves.
What drives the cost
Every event is quoted to the brief. These are the things that move the number.
- Scale and number of pieces. One entrance feature is a different job from a stage frame, a table run and a lobby piece.
- How specific the palette is. Specialty stems held to a narrow colour brief cost more and want longer lead time than a seasonal mix.
- Access and install. Ceiling height, rigging points, load-in restrictions and lift hire sit in the build rather than in the design.
- Strike. Clearing the room the same night means a second crew call after the guests leave.
Lead time tracks the build. A single feature can go in on 5 to 7 days notice. A multi-piece room wants 10 to 14 days for design and sourcing. A full gala or activation build wants 3 to 4 weeks.
Common questions about corporate and non-profit event flowers
What kinds of corporate and non-profit events do you take on?
Product launches and brand activations, conferences and all-day programmes, executive dinners and VIP receptions, office openings and holiday parties, benefit galas, donor evenings and award ceremonies. We also run recurring programmes for reception areas, lobbies and boardrooms. The studio is set up for a single boardroom arrangement and for a multi-table gala at a venue across town.
What does corporate event floristry cost?
Every event is quoted to the brief. We do not publish rates, because the same amount of visible decor can be an afternoon with one van or a night build with a lift and a second crew. Tell us the date, the venue and roughly what you picture, and we will come back with an estimate. Call (212) 308-3794 or email info@alaricflowers.com. There is no charge for the conversation.
How far ahead should we book?
A single feature can go in on 5 to 7 days notice. A multi-piece room wants 10 to 14 days for design and sourcing. A full gala or activation build wants 3 to 4 weeks, so we can secure specialty stems and clear load-in, ceiling access and strike timing with the building. Peak dates book out first.
Can you match our brand colours?
Yes. Colour matching is part of every proposal. We work from your brand guidelines, mood boards or visual references and source stems against them. For exact mark-matching or logo work, allow extra lead time so we can confirm what is actually available in that colour that week.
Do you install and strike on site?
Yes. Our own installation team delivers, builds and strikes across Manhattan, and into Brooklyn and Queens for scheduled events. We confirm load-in windows, service elevator bookings and the certificate of insurance with your venue or building before the day, and we treat strike as its own crew call rather than an afterthought.
Who do we deal with during the project?
One point of contact, from the first consultation through to load-out. The same person who takes the brief is the person your production team reaches on the day.
Do you work with non-profit galas and fundraisers?
Frequently. Past non-profit clients include The Bone Marrow Foundation and Education Through Music, alongside arts organisations and charitable foundations. We are used to coordinating with event planners, auction teams and in-house venue florists. For mission-aligned organisations, sponsorship arrangements or in-kind partnerships are sometimes possible, so please ask when you request a quote.
Do you run recurring programmes for offices?
Yes. Weekly, bi-weekly and monthly programmes are available for reception areas, executive floors, lobbies and private clubs, designed by Lena Yelagina and delivered from our Upper West Side studio at 54 W 70th St. Manhattan same-day delivery runs to a 2pm ET cutoff.
Do you offer holiday programmes?
Yes. Thanksgiving, the December holidays and Lunar New Year are our largest corporate holiday programmes. Most clients book December installations by mid-October. Wreaths, mantle work and reception-desk arrangements are designed in your brand colours or a seasonal palette.
