Peonies, Roses and a Long Summer Light
Blush peonies open beside apricot garden roses, with a lavender hydrangea anchoring the center and yellow oncidium orchids arcing past the edge. The palette stays soft, though the orchid sprays keep it from settling into sweetness.

Peonies open with warmth: keep the room cool at 60-70F to slow them, or move them somewhere warmer to encourage them open. Hydrangea drinks heavily, so top up daily. Recut rose stems every other day.
