East Village Florist
Alaric Flower Design is a luxury florist delivering to the East Village, serving ZIP code 10009. Our arrangements are made at our Upper West Side studio and brought downtown by our own couriers for same-day delivery to apartments, walk-ups, studios and storefronts across the neighborhood. Order by 2pm ET for same-day. Manhattan delivery is a flat $20, added to the arrangement price.
The East Village runs on independent energy: self-sufficient, specific, not interested in the generic. We design flowers for that sensibility. Whether the delivery is going to a fourth-floor walk-up on St. Mark's Place, a restaurant opening on Avenue B or an office tucked above a Tompkins Square storefront, the arrangement is made for the space and the person, not pulled from a shelf. Alaric has been designing flowers in New York since 2006. This is still how we work.
Flower delivery in the East Village: common questions
Do you offer same-day flower delivery in the East Village?
Yes. Order by 2pm ET and we deliver the same day to any address in the East Village in ZIP code 10009. Manhattan delivery is a flat $20, added to the arrangement price. Our couriers handle walk-up buildings and unlisted buzzers regularly. Include building notes when you order.
Can you deliver to a walk-up apartment in the East Village?
Yes. Walk-up deliveries are a standard part of our East Village schedule. If there's a buzzer code, a specific floor or a neighbor to call if no one answers, add those details to your order and we will work with them.
How much do arrangements cost?
Arrangements start at $85 for a single white orchid, with a designer's choice bouquet from $100. Most clients choose something in the $175 to $200 range. The luxury tier starts at $375 and goes upward for fully custom work. Manhattan delivery is a flat $20.
Do you handle flowers for events and performances in the East Village?
Yes. We deliver flowers to event and performance venues across the neighborhood, including Webster Hall, St. Mark's Church in-the-Bowery, Connelly Theater, The Bowery Hotel and The Public Theater. For weddings, bar and bat mitzvah celebrations, album releases and private parties, contact us with your brief and we will put together a proposal. For full event design, see our wedding flowers and private event flowers pages.
Can I set up recurring flower deliveries for my East Village apartment?
Yes. We run weekly and bi-weekly arrangements for apartments and small studios on a flower subscription. Each delivery is composed fresh with whatever is at its best that week, so the flowers change rather than repeat. It suits the way a lot of East Village clients already shop: by what's good, not by what's fixed.
Can I pick up an arrangement from your studio?
Pickup is available by appointment at our studio at 54 W 70th St on the Upper West Side. Call +1 (212) 308-3794 to schedule. We are open Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 4pm.
