Upper East Side Florist
Alaric Flower Design is a luxury florist serving the Upper East Side with same-day delivery across ZIP codes 10021, 10022, 10028, 10065 and 10075. Our studio is on the Upper West Side at 54 W 70th St, and our own couriers carry each arrangement directly to Fifth Avenue and Park Avenue addresses, to the prewar buildings along Madison and Lexington, and to the townhouses on the cross streets from the 60s to the 90s.
The Upper East Side sets a particular standard, and flowers are part of that. Alaric was founded in 2006 by Lena Yelagina with a precise eye and a deep knowledge of materials. Our arrangements are not assembled from a template. They are designed to the room, the occasion and the person receiving them.
Delivering flowers across the Upper East Side
Our five ZIP codes run from the museum blocks on Fifth Avenue south through Lenox Hill and east along Park Avenue to the hospital district near 10065. Every building type is familiar to us: the white-glove co-ops that require advance notice, the townhouses with private service entrances, the full-floor apartments where discretion is expected. For events, our couriers reach The Pierre and The Carlyle for hotel receptions, the Metropolitan Museum of Art for institutional galas, Temple Emanu-El and Park Avenue Synagogue for weddings and bar and bat mitzvah celebrations, and The Jewish Museum for benefit evenings. For wedding and event design, see our wedding flowers and private event flowers pages. Recurring arrangements for apartments and offices are available on a flower subscription. For adjacent coverage, see Yorkville and Lenox Hill and Midtown Manhattan.
Upper East Side flower delivery: common questions
Do you offer same-day flower delivery on the Upper East Side?
Yes. Order by 2pm ET and we deliver the same day to any address across ZIP codes 10021, 10022, 10028, 10065 and 10075. Manhattan delivery is a flat $20, added to the price of the arrangement. Our couriers follow building-access and doorman instructions precisely.
Can you deliver to Upper East Side hotels, including The Pierre or The Carlyle?
Yes. We deliver to both hotels and coordinate with their concierge teams for room drops, guest arrivals and private-dining arrangements. Advance notice of an hour or more is appreciated for time-specific deliveries to hotel rooms.
How do you handle co-op and doorman buildings?
We ask for any specific building instructions when you place your order. If a building requires a call-ahead, a specific entrance or a signed receipt, we accommodate that as a matter of course. Most Upper East Side deliveries go through a doorman without incident; we have been doing this for twenty years.
Can you design flowers for a wedding or event at a synagogue or museum on the Upper East Side?
Yes. Weddings and bar and bat mitzvah celebrations at Temple Emanu-El, Park Avenue Synagogue and Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun are a significant part of our event work. We also deliver to galas and institutional events at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Jewish Museum. We design ceremony and reception flowers to a detailed brief and coordinate logistics with the venue.
How much do arrangements cost?
Arrangements begin at $85 for a single white orchid. A designer's choice bouquet starts at $100. Most of our Upper East Side clients choose something in the $175 to $200 range, and our luxury and bespoke tier runs from $375 upward. Delivery is an additional flat $20 in Manhattan.
Can I order flowers for a weekly delivery to an apartment or office?
Yes. We design weekly and bi-weekly arrangements on a flower subscription, with the palette refreshed to match the season. This is a popular service for residential reception areas, home libraries and executive offices throughout the Upper East Side.
